DD:  Absolutely.  Take a look at what happens in Antarctica.  The biggest problem that they have in Antarctica is with all of those scientists.  The overwhelming majority are Caucasian—Russian, European, Australian, New Zealander, American, all of them Caucasian except for those from Japan and China.  There are very few ethnic minorities on the Antarctic continent.  Generally, the only minorities that you would find would be in the American military.

There is an enormous American military presence down in Antarctica, but there is no threat of a war starting in Antarctica between the United States and Russia or China or any surface nation.  So, why are they there?  The reason is for one of the same major reasons that Marines are on a ship:  not only to act as the infantry arm of the navy, but also to prevent mutiny among the sailors.  That’s why there’s military presence in Antarctica:  to prevent defection.  The biggest problem that they have with scientists in the Antarctic is defection to the Third Reich.
